I served on active duty in the US Air Force from 5 Jan 04 through 31 Aug 08.  As a JAG Officer, I began in the legal office at Kadena Air Base, Japan.  I quickly developed a reputation as the most aggressive prosecutor in the Pacific Circuit, prosecuting numerous court-martial cases, from minor DUI charges to major crimes like attempted rape, possession/distribution of child pornography, and indecent assault.  I also worked daily with commanders and first sergeants on all facets of military justice and discipline.

After two years in the base legal office, I was chosen to become an Area Defense Counsel at Kadena AB, where I put my efforts into defending Airmen throughout the Pacific Circuit accused of crimes.  I continued to maintain a reputation for excellence and to develop a reputation as one of the most aggressive defense counsel in the area.  I represented hundreds of clients in all forums of military justice, from nonjudicial punishments through General Courts-Martial.  I've represented clients accused of rape, indecent acts on children, possession/distribution of child pornography, BAH (housing) fraud, larceny, drug possession, drug importation, domestic violence, dereliction of duty, DUI, housebreaking/burglary, obstruction of justice, and more.  I give each client my utmost dedication to fight on his or her behalf.

I begin each case with an eye towards either dismissal of all charges, or an outright acquittal.  I always plan long-term, and the earlier I get involved in your case the better I can take steps early on that can generate good results down the road.

Whether you're facing a potential Summary Court-Martial, Special Court-Martial, General Court-Martial, or even an administrative discharge board, contact me and we can discuss your case.  I would be honored to fight for you, no matter how long it takes, no matter how complicated the case.

In addition to my military defense practice, I maintain a civilian defense practice in Marquette, MI, where I defend clients facing state and federal criminal charges.

I am a member of the bars of the State of Michigan, the State of Wisconsin, the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States Supreme Court.  I can represent any military member in any court-martial proceeding, or in a discharge board hearing.

Dedicated to defending those that defend our freedom.
